Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of shipads (“shipads,” “the Service,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. The Service
shipads accepts Claude Design handoff URLs, .zip project exports, and standalone .html files, renders the designs in headless Chromium, and returns platform-ready ad creatives as a zip archive. Features and limits differ by plan (Free, Pro, Agency) and are documented on our pricing page.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract.
- You're responsible for keeping your magic-link sign-in email secure. We'll assume anyone who can access your email is you.
- One person = one account. Teams are allocated seats via your plan's seat limit and can be managed from /settings/billing.
- You're responsible for activity under your account, including seat holders you invite.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Free plan: 100 ads per month, PNG only, native size. No credit card required. Quota resets on the first of each calendar month.
- Paid plans (Pro, Agency): billed monthly via Stripe, in advance, in US dollars. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
- Seats: Pro includes 2 seats, Agency includes 10. Additional seats are billed at $15/seat/month. Seat count is the
quantityon your subscription and is adjusted via the Customer Portal. - Tax: applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated and added by Stripe at checkout.
- Cancellation: cancel at any time from /settings/billing → “Manage billing in Stripe.” Your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period; we don't prorate refunds for partial months.
- Price changes: we may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Price changes apply to the next billing cycle after the notice period.
- Failed payments: if a charge fails, Stripe will retry per its standard dunning schedule. If we can't collect, we'll downgrade your account to the free plan.
- Promo codes: subject to the specific terms attached to each code.
4. Refund policy
Subscription fees are non-refundable. We'll always make things right if shipads is demonstrably broken or we overbill you — email billing@shipads.app and we'll work it out. Refunds are granted at our discretion.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload designs you don't own or don't have the right to process.
- Use shipads to create content that's illegal, defamatory, deceptive, or that violates someone else's intellectual-property rights.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or bypass rate limits or access controls.
- Probe, abuse, or interfere with the infrastructure (denial-of-service, exploits, etc.).
- Share account credentials or use a single seat for multiple people.
- Resell the Service or build a competing product from it.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules — with or without notice, depending on severity.
6. Your content, your rights
- You own the designs you upload and the ads we render for you. We don't claim any rights in them.
- You grant us a narrow, temporary license to extract, render, rasterize, and return your uploaded content — solely to provide the Service. That license ends when the export job finishes.
- We don't use your content to train AI models. We don't share it with third parties outside the subprocessors listed in our Privacy Policy.
7. Our platform, our rights
The shipads application, codebase, marks, and documentation are owned by us (or our licensors) and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms don't transfer any of those rights to you. Nothing here grants you a license to our logo or brand.
8. Third-party services
shipads depends on Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, Resend, and Anthropic's Claude Design service. We're not responsible for their availability, changes, or failures. Using shipads means you're also subject to those providers' terms for the portions of the Service they power. See our Privacy Policy for links.
9. Service availability
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee any specific uptime. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may perform maintenance, deploy changes, or take the Service offline temporarily without prior notice.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, shipads disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce output that meets any specific platform's (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.) ad spec. You're responsible for verifying that exported ads conform to the platform you upload them to.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, shipads and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or missed ad campaigns — arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) USD $100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold shipads harmless from any third-party claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, (b) your content or the designs you upload, or (c) your infringement of any third party's rights.
13. Termination
- You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@shipads.app. We'll honor the request within 30 days.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we're required to by law. In material cases, we'll email you first if we reasonably can.
- Sections 4 (Refunds), 6 (Your content), 7 (Our platform), 10 (Disclaimers), 11 (Limitation), 12 (Indemnification), and 14 (Governing law) survive termination.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State], [Your Country], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [Your City, Your State], and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be announced via email to active account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
16. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and shipads regarding the Service.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a right isn't a waiver of that right.
- Assignment. You can't assign these Terms without our written consent; we can assign them to a successor (e.g. in a corporate reorganization or acquisition).
